In the recent primary election, the citizens of Legislative Districts 24 and 25 have decisively voiced their desire for change. This election has been a testament to the spirit of democracy, with three young candidates, new to public office, stepping forward alongside our steadfast Senator. We have heard the people loud and clear—they are ready for a restoration of our Constitutional Republic and the conservative values that make Idaho such a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.
We, Senator Glenneda Zuiderveld-D24, Representative-Elect Clint Hostetler-D24, Senator-Elect Joshua Kohl-D25, and Representative-Elect David J. Leavitt-D25, are honored and humbled by the trust placed in us by the voters. Our commitment to upholding the values of the Republican Party is unwavering. We pledge to be the voice of the people, representing the citizens of the Magic Valley with integrity and dedication. Each of us brings a unique background and a diverse set of talents to this endeavor, united by a common purpose—to serve our community and safeguard the principles that underpin our great state.
We are ordinary people, and we understand the struggles each of you have and are enduring with high inflation, high housing costs, and the challenges of everyday life. Some of us are small business owners who know firsthand the struggles of operating in a competitive world where favored industries and organizations often crush many homegrown businesses and industries. We share your concerns and are committed to addressing these issues with practical, conservative solutions that will ease these burdens and restore economic stability.
We are committed to protecting our borders, safeguarding our children, and ensuring the integrity of our elections. In an era where national security is paramount, we will advocate for strong border policies that secure our nation and uphold the rule of law. In addition to protecting our nation at the border, we must also protect its future—our children. We will champion policies that protect their well-being and promote their success. Lastly, we believe that we don’t have a nation unless every citizen’s vote is counted accurately and fairly, so we will work to enhance election integrity to maintain the trust of the electorate.
We recognize the critical importance of the agricultural industries, which are the lifeblood of our communities. We want to see our industries succeed, but it should never be at the cost of our liberties, freedoms, or sovereignty. Our policies will support the growth and sustainability of these vital sectors while safeguarding the rights and freedoms of our citizens.
Together, we will work tirelessly to ensure that the conservative values of faith, family, and freedom are preserved and strengthened.
