At least twice now, upon leaving the state, Idaho’s Governor Brad Little has stated that he has not authorized Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin to act on his behalf, most recently doing it on Facebook. Guess what? Brad Little has zero authority to operate contrary to the Idaho Constitution, which he swore an oath to support. As such, his Facebook comments on Oct. 5 are nothing more than a political stunt. And with Scott Bedke also seemingly ignorant of the Idaho Constitution, his comments are also a political stunt. Additionally, by releasing his personal comments on official House of Representative letterhead, he may have set himself up for an ethics violation. Read more
