- Millions of dollars are flowing into Idaho’s elections, including campaigns supporting and opposing Proposition 1, as Secretary of State Phil McGrane says growing interest from outside groups is making elections more expensive.
Since MVLA reported in August on the millions of out-of-state dollars pouring into Idaho to ensure Prop 1’s passage, as of Oct. 12, spending on the measure has exceeded $2.5 million, including about $1.1 million supporting it, according to campaign finance records cited by the Idaho Capital Sun. Unfortunately, statistics show an estimated 40 million Christians typically sit out elections. What they don’t realize is this: As the saying goes, conservatives who stay home elect liberals. And in this case, ensure out-of-state leftist groups pass Prop 1 and, in turn, transform Idaho’s pro-life culture to a pro-abortion culture.
Don’t let Idaho become another red state casualty.
