TWIN FALLS, ID – Twin Falls residents — from lefty liberals to far-right conservatives — secretly joined forces in cleverly turning their mutual angst against the 40 Flock mass surveillance cameras showing up at major intersections, by aiming 40 Flock cameras of their own at the Twin Falls Public Safety Building, headquarters of the Twin Falls Police Dept.

From lib-tards to right-wingers — who never agree on anything — all agree that Flock cameras have no place in Twin Falls.
Twin Falls Public Safety employees reported the incident when arriving to work this morning. Ironically, they only had to walk down the hall to Twin Falls Police headquarters to file a report. It turns out police were just as surprised as they were of the overnight stealth operation. Apparently, the officer on night duty was too preoccupied with monitoring Flock cameras in the control room that supposedly “deters crime” to catch criminals in the act.
“I was as surprised as everyone else when I arrived for work this morning’, says Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks. Hicks has gone on record before the Twin Falls City Council in support of funding Flock cameras. When asked what they plan to do next, he said, “Take them down, of course, immediately. Flock cameras present a security issue for our operations. Our officers aren’t safe so long as these cameras are monitoring our every whereabouts … to keep the public safe.”
Uhh, that’s exactly how we citizens feel.
Organizers scoffed at the apparent irony. “Hey, we just want to keep the public safe, same as the police do. Shouldn’t be a problem, Chief Hicks, since the Department has nothing to hide. Right?”
Tee hee.
An anonymous organizer and brainchild of this operation came forward to explain their aim at aiming Focks cameras at Twin Falls Police. “We hope they get the message now that the cameras are aimed at them. Deflock Twin Falls now.”
Organizers hope their little surprise will add momentum to the current public outcry against mass surveillance and will inspire even more citizens to pack the next Twin Falls City Council budget meeting to demand defunding of Flock cameras.
